Terms of service
Last updated 8 September 2026
1. Who you are agreeing with
The service is operated under the trading name mylifeplanner from the United Kingdom. mylifeplanner is not a registered company; it is run by an individual operator. If you need the operator’s full legal name and address — for example before entering a paid contract, or to bring a complaint — email hello@mylifeplanner.co.uk and it will be provided.
“We”, “us” and “our” mean that operator. “You” means the person using the service. By creating an account you accept these terms.
2. Your account
- You are responsible for what you do with your account and for keeping your password to yourself.
- One person per account. Household plans let you invite others, who each get their own account.
- You are responsible for keeping your password safe. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access.
- Give accurate details. We may suspend accounts we reasonably believe are fraudulent or being used to harm others.
3. Trials, plans and payment
New accounts start a free trial of the paid tier. When a trial ends without a subscription, the account moves to the free tier: nothing is deleted, but paid features stop being available until you choose a plan.
Paid subscriptions are not currently being charged. If and when billing goes live, we will tell you before taking any payment, and you will get the statutory cancellation rights that apply to consumer contracts for digital services.
4. What mylifeplanner is not
The same applies to anything the service says about your habits, time or wellbeing. It is a mirror for your own data, not a clinical, medical or professional opinion.
5. Your content is yours
You keep ownership of everything you put into mylifeplanner. You grant us only the permission needed to run the service for you — storing your data, processing it to produce your views and reminders, and backing it up. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it to train machine-learning models.
You can request a comprehensive export at any time, and deleting your account removes it. See the Privacy Policy for the detail.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use mylifeplanner to:
- break the law, or infringe anyone else’s rights;
- upload malware, or attempt to gain access to accounts or data that are not yours;
- probe, load-test or disrupt the service, except with our written permission;
- resell or redistribute the service.
7. Connected services
You can connect third-party accounts such as Microsoft, Google, Todoist or Notion. Those services are run by their providers, under their terms, not ours. We only access what the permissions you grant allow, and you can disconnect at any time from Integrations. We are not responsible for changes those providers make, including withdrawing access.
8. Availability
We do not promise the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. It is in beta. We may change, suspend or withdraw features, and will give reasonable notice of significant changes where we can. Planned data deletion is never done without notice.
9. Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. If you are a consumer, you have statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 that these terms do not affect.
Subject to that: we are not liable for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, for business losses, or for decisions you take based on projections or estimates the service displays. Where we are liable and a cap is lawful, our total liability is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or £100.
10. Ending the agreement
You can stop using mylifeplanner whenever you like and delete your account from You → Danger zone. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, or where we are required to by law. If we close the service entirely, we will give you reasonable notice and a window to export your data.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms.
12. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you may bring proceedings in your own local courts.
Please raise problems with us first — hello@mylifeplanner.co.uk. Most things are quicker to sort out directly.
